Callouts

About

Marc Silk, born in 1972, is a British voice actor who has contributed significantly to the pinball industry by providing character callouts for various games. He began his career in local radio, developing a hands-on understanding of audio production, and gained prominence after voicing characters in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. Silk’s passion for pinball led to his first major pinball voice project with Stern Pinball’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2020), where he voiced six characters, including Master Splinter, Bebop, and Rocksteady, helping set a new standard for professional voice acting in pinball.

Subsequently, Silk brought new life to classic Williams titles through Pedretti Gaming’s 2.0 conversion kits, notably reimagining Rudy’s voice in FunHouse: Rudy’s Nightmare (2021) and adding a fresh storyline to Whirlwind: Total Chaos (2023). In each project, he leveraged modern sound hardware to deliver immersive callouts that enhance both gameplay clarity and narrative depth. Silk’s more recent work on Jim Henson’s Labyrinth (2023) further illustrates his impact on the pinball world, as he provided multiple character voices based on the 1986 fantasy film, demonstrating his range and confirming the value of high-quality vocal performances in driving player engagement.
