Daft Punk, formed in 1993 by French musicians Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, was one of the most influential electronic music acts of all time. The duo became known for their unique blend of house, disco, funk, and techno, pushing the boundaries of electronic music while maintaining an enigmatic public image, often appearing in public wearing robotic helmets.

Daft Punk’s debut album, Homework (1997), introduced their innovative sound to the world, with hits like "Da Funk" and "Around the World" becoming instant dance floor classics. Their follow-up album, Discovery (2001), is considered a landmark in electronic music, featuring tracks like "One More Time," "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger," and "Digital Love." Discovery showcased the duo’s ability to blend electronic music with pop sensibilities, creating a sound that was both futuristic and accessible.

In 2005, Daft Punk released Human After All, an album that further explored their robotic personas and delved into darker, more minimalist soundscapes. They also gained acclaim for their work on the soundtrack for the 2010 film Tron: Legacy, which blended orchestral elements with their signature electronic style.

Daft Punk reached new heights of popularity with their 2013 album Random Access Memories, which won several Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year. The album's lead single, "Get Lucky," featuring Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers, became a global hit, blending vintage funk with modern production.
